Card and payment details go straight to Paddle, our merchant of record, and never reach us. Paddle handles them as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.
2. Data about websites in our database
The database describes websites, not people: domains, the ads.txt lines and ad code they publish, the ad network and affiliate programs they use, and their publisher and affiliate IDs. Some of that can relate to an individual who runs a site, for example an affiliate tag or a publisher name in a network's public sellers.json.
- We use this public data for market research about websites, which is our legitimate interest and our customers'. We only collect what sites and networks publish for the ad industry or show to every visitor.
- We do not show the names of individual account holders from sellers.json; only company names appear.
- If you run a site, you can object, or ask us to correct or remove it, with the removal form. Once checked, the site is hidden from every service.
3. Who processes data for us
- Hetzner Online (Germany): servers and database hosting.
- Cloudflare: content delivery, security, DNS and email forwarding.
- Resend: delivery of sign-in and service emails.
- Paddle: payments, invoices and sales tax, as merchant of record.
Our servers are in the European Union. Some providers process data in other countries, including the United States and India; where that happens we rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
4. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, object to processing based on legitimate interest, or withdraw consent at any time. Email us; we reply within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK you may also complain to your data protection authority, and in India to the Data Protection Board.
5. Cookies
We only use cookies the service needs to work. See the cookie policy.
6. Children
pubsleuth is a professional tool and not meant for anyone under 18.
